~Special Moments~
Hallie found some change in an old purse of mine and took it out. Jeremy
explained to her that was stealing. She said it wasn't because I'm her mom. He said "No, it doesn't matter it's not yours it's stealing."
Hallie doesn't like to do wrong.
She is upset that she can't be perfect.
So Jeremy told her to talk to me. I told her to put it back. While all of this is going on no one yelled, she didn't get in trouble. It was all a normal conversation and a learning moment for Hallie. So, I go to bed that night and this is what my first grader leaves on my pillow.
The spelling is the best!! and the money is in the cup with the bow.

Guess who are going to be flower girls!!!!

Congrats to the girls. Autumn wants to be a flower girl so bad!
ReplyDeleteI love Hallie's note ! It reminds me of when I was going to college and Mic wanted to "take care' of me. She slathered peanut butter and honey between two sandwich rolls and smashed the rolls (bottom to bottom) together. She was not allowed to use a knife at the time !! She left her "sandwich" on my desk where I had been working on a term paper. Priceless.
