Something funny and some things cute...

I gave my site a new face lift. What do you think?

So I asked my husband something about his beard and he said he wanted to keep it and he liked it. I said I liked it too I was just asking, but can't remember what I said exactly. So he mis- understood that for, "hey get rid of your beard I hate it." or something to that effect.

Jeremy, Heidi and Hope have a cold thing so I left them home yesterday morning. Big mistake. He can not be left home alone when sick. I have learned my lesson. Last time I left him home when he was sick, he tried cutting his hair and the back was zig-zag and too short and he needed me to straighten it for him. He wore a hat to work for a week I think. Because of what he thought I said before about the beard this is what I came home to.

This was my husband in the morning.
This is what I came home to.
He wasn't happy when he realized I wasn't happy.
He expected excitement
and instead he got,"What did you do?"
(OOPS)
so he shall begin again!!

Heidi's dress came in last week.

The OH-SO cute wedding shoes.
Oops, I am just now seeing the price tag.
They didn't cost that much.
They were very much on sale!

24 hour paryer chain!!

I posted yesterday about a young lady in Pa at my Parents church who is very sick in the hospital and the Doctors don't know what is wrong. The pastor has arranged a 24 hour prayer chain in 15 minute increments and I thought we could join.

Please choose a time, leave your time (specify am or pm) and name in my comment box and share this with everyone you know. You can link my site to your friends so they know to come and select a time. Let's see what the power of prayer can really do!!!

May God get the glory!!!

It starts at midnight tonight, I was going to do tonight too, but decided Friday night into Saturday morning would give more of you time to see this message. Please join and tell everyone you know about this prayer chain.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST!!

PRAY FOR KENNEDY!!

Kennedy is a sweet young teenager in PA at my Parents church. She has 3 other siblings and they all are very good kids. Kennedy had her wisdom teeth pulled and it all went down hill from there. ( Jen B. don't let this influence you)

She started by getting an infection so they got meds for that. Now they believe she has RSV. She has pain in her legs and chest continually and her heart races.

My girls remember her and her sister Presley as "the girls who gave us all their dresses!"

Please help us lift her up for quick healing

Josiah Daniel has arrived!

You all don't know these people but this is Josh, my husband's brother and His first born, Caroline. They just had a baby boy! So we had to go see. I didn't take a picture of the mom because she was tired and I didn't think she was up to pictures.

Saint Patricks Day Parade

Our town had a very small and very sad Parade. Not very many floats but it was fun for the kids none the less. They were expecting more because we have an Apple Blossom parade in May that is fantastic!! We all enjoyed the beautiful day God gave us.

The girls enjoyed picking up the candy that was thrown out to them.

Hope enjoying the fruits of her sisters labors.

Is that what I think is coming?!

Horses!!!

The flower girl dresses

As you all know Hallie and Heidi have been asked to be in a wedding. Well I finally got with the bride over the phone and we looked at dresses on line because no store had dresses for a reasonable price.
The dresses are just beautiful!!

Unfortunately, They were too big for both of them so we put Heidi's size 4 on Hallie my almost 7 year old and perfection!! So we ordered Heidi a size 2!! I can't believe it. They really make them big. When it comes in we will let Heidi model hers for you.

It's Finished!!!!!!

BEFORE

AFTER, EXCEPT...
now we've decided to paint, at least we can shower now, woo hoo!!

Mattress Sledding!!!

Ours neighbors are good Friends of ours and they came into a bit of a family crisis 2 Friday nights ago. We saw some of the kids out in the backyard playing while the parents were dealing with something so I went over to talk to them and found out what was going on. So I talked to Jeremy first and then went over and told them we would take the 4 younger kids for the night.

Of course they were, "Oh no it's late you don't have to do that." And I said,"kids go pack!!" They were off and the parents just smiled and thanked us a million times.

Like my husband said, "It's not like they wouldn't do it for us."

Steven loves our super Nintendo
*Note* yes I know it's ancient but it doesn't take much to impress our kids. A friend bought it for us and our girls love it.
(Ok, ok I love it too!! You can stop shinning that bright light now!)
Christian was pushing Hope around on Thomas.
(Sorry about the big industrial extension cord, curdesy of my husband)

Let the mattress sledding begin!!

Till bedtime.

Had to share the cute pony tail.

Hallie and Heidi are going to be flower girls in May. So Exciting!! So we tried on a dress at Dillard's.
The bride didn't like it so we'll just keep looking.

I leave you with a cute open mouth kiss!! Those are the best coming from such sweetness as this.

come back in a few days I'll share our mattress sledding down the stairs
What fun!!

Making Progress...

Well, it's coming along. Sorry I haven't posted more. We are having computer problems. Jeremy got sick so he wasn't up to working on it, but now he is back at it and almost done.

New faucet, handles and shower head...

Sheet rock...

mud and tape...
Wow, next thing ya know, we'll be using it.
I forget what a shower feels like. Baths are nice, but I'm tired of them already.
I'm so thankful we were able to do this project.
