Summer fun!

What's better than a mud fight?
Chasing your sister with a paint brush with mud on it.
The girls were running through the sprinkler with their cousins on Friday and after they left the girl went back out again. Jeremy and I were watching them through the window and caught them in the middle of a mud fight.
Hallie teasing with the mud while I try to take a picture.
Heidi running for cover

or a weapon to fight back, lol

I love the pure joy and excitement on their faces.
So what that I don't have a working washing machine and I have no idea how I'm going to wash their clothes.

Hope looks like she is in shock, lol!

This is what happens after a mud and water fight.

Everyone came in to take a bath and get cleaned up and warmed up. I made a wonderful pasta dish that was just a throw together and it turned out great.
The girls had thirds!!!

Our neighbor kids came over to run through the sprinkler.
We got the girls new swim suits and I just love them!!

Of course we had to work on our cartwheels

Our washing machine is still broken, but our pastor let us use the one
at the church so all the clothes got washed.

Joys of Boys???

Yes, they are here. Why, because we are related and they are back on a furlough. Their Dad and my husband are brothers. Their mom is my best friend from college who I desperately wanted to be my sister in law and look how that worked out. God is good.

I must share a wonderful blessing with you all.

As we are walking through our (in the process of being renovated) mall we saw a new Carousel being put up and people were getting on so we walked by and the people there said they were testing it so if the kids wanted a free ride this was the time!! Praise the Lord!! They were so excited. and so were us moms. They also played for a good while in our new play area.

Emily and Lee's Wedding...

Here they are, the pictures you all have been waiting for. I know you are on the edge of your seat just to see my beautiful girls in their flower girl glory!!

Well, wait no more!!

Hallie getting her hair done.

Heidi was done first because she just needed her hair straightened a little and then dressed.

One more fresh press

The 3 beauties!!

Since the wedding was at 7pm we did pictures around 4 and yes that means the groom saw the bride before the wedding, but they staged his "first glance"and it was so neat to see his reaction.

The Candle Lighters

WOO HOO!!! MY GIRLS!

They did such a good job!!

A really cute moment was when the little blond ring bearer said, "Good job, you did really good!" about 3 times to Heidi when they got up to the front. It was funny.

And then she entered...

She was so beautiful!!

OK, some may not find this funny, but the groomsmen played a joke on them. When the groom wasn't around they got his shoes and wrote, "She's Hot!" on the bottoms so when they knelt to light the unity candle and pray together that is what we all saw.

Mr and Mrs. Murdock

Great Job, Girls!!

Waiting to blow bubbles

The cake was beautiful

It was a beautiful christian wedding. I am so glad we were blessed to be a part of their special day. It is a day my girls will never forget.

Skirts and Dresses Challenge - Day 5 and 6

These seriously are the outfits we wore pretty much all day on Saturday.
With the girls needing to get their hair done and then pictures before the wedding they were in these almost all day. They changed into different dresses for the late ride home.
The wedding was beautiful and I'll have pictures and stories later.

Sunday, day 6 for us.
