Dear Lord...

So far my day has consisted of...

1. the coffee pot over flowing
2.My coffee cup spilled on the table during school time
3.My 2 year old taking her sisters seat and crying when made to get down
4.My 2 year old not sitting where I told her to and spilling the fruit basket all over the floor.
5. My 2 year old trying to play with scissors
6.My 2 year old trying to get the dry erase markers and color on my teaching board

Heidi Michelle...

is the sweetest little girl that would give you the shirt off her back and the food off her plate. She loves everyone and wants to be just like her big sister. She loves her sisters and her parents and wishes her Grandparents and Uncle Eddie lived closer. She can also entertain herself by turning her crayons into people and by making her balloons talk to each other. She is a joy and delight everyday and I am thankful God has blessed us with her.

Friends from church, Phil and Sue sent a bundle of balloons. We are waiting till it gets closer to Hallie's birthday for their party. I'm thinking sleepover, yikes!! SShh don't tell. It's a secret.

When our Asst. Pastor and his family moved to OK. to take a church we bought their basement furniture. 2 couches a coffee table,2 end tables and 2 lamps. My Mom just bought the new lamp shades. My friend Jen in Fl. has been begging me to show the couches. My living room was not so clean so your only getting a peak at one,lol.

The girls sleepover!!

The girls have been working so hard on school work we decided to surprise them with a friend coming to sleep over last Friday night. Their friend Kelsey from church. She is such a sweet little girl and is exactly the kind of friend I want my girls to have. She is 9 years old so she is a little more mature than mine, but they had a lot of fun.



Then when Jeremy and I decided to do this I went into redecorating mode!!



I didn't like how the girls rooms were before. I wanted their bedroom to be the purple and pink and their playroom to be the green and yellow. We had already painted when we realized the bunk bed didn't fit in the pink and purple room. I was very bummed. Jeremy mentioned putting the bunk bed away and bringing up the queen bed from the basement. They are all still small enough they would fit fine. They slept on the full bunk bed together so the queen would give them more room. At the time I said no. Last week I started to reconsider since I wanted it nice for their friend and I've wanted it nice for my girls too.



So let the cleaning and organizing begin. I was up going through bins and toy boxes and getting rid of anything they didn't play with or didn't have sentimental value. I got very little sleep Thursday night. Their toys had taken over and I had gotten behind. I started Wednesday night and finished Thursday night. Jeremy asked a friend from work to come over Friday morning and help him move the beds around. They brought the Queen up and would you believe it... COVERED IN MOLD!!!! We even had it wrapped in packing wrap to keep that from happening, but water got in anyway so plan B. Put the full mattress on the queen box spring and the girls have a little step for their new bed. They loved it!!! So Did I. I was so happy how it turned out. I am mostly happy because when I asked my oldest, Hallie,"Is this the nice bedroom you wanted?" She said to me "It's even better than I imagined!" MELT MY MOMMY HEART!!!!



I am so thankful my dear husband was so willing to lose some sleep and deal with my changing my mind 100 times. It never would have gotten done if it weren't for him. Now our girls feel like princess's!!!



We are not completely done yet. There are a few more decorating things I want to do. My friend, Brigitte is going to come paint butterflies and flowers in the playroom and we want to get lace material and make the girls a canopy over their bed. I'm so excited.

We are also going to get butterfly hooks to hold the sheers to the sides if the doorway into their room. Their playroom and bedroom are open to each other. My mom bought the sheers. We also have the matching valance that will go above the doorway.

On the wall is a really cute princess crown clock. I forgot a closeup. That will be another post. My mom bought that too. Thanks mom!!

After Kesley left on Saturday we went to the store. The girls played in there playground.

They love Menard's!! That's the name of the store.

Boomer dug up the ground under the fence and we had to get dirt to fill it in for the new neighbors. The dirt was frozen, but it didn't take long for it to thaw in 60 degree's and the sun shining.

Even so, She did great too!!

And then there's Hope. Our little monster. She's cute, but she's a monster!!

Surprisingly, she did open her mouth.

Not very much, but it was a great beginning. The Dentist was surprised because she's only 2. He said that is very rare.

"Ok, So what do I get for being so good?"

"Ok, this is not what I meant."

Heidi's turn. I believe this was an amputation. My girls can be so morbid.

Heidi is being a dentist.

They did so well. We were so proud of them and No Cavities!!!!

I also must take a minute to praise the Lord for our parents raising us in a Christian home and making Christ the focus because now He is the focus in our family and the Dentist mentioned that and said we had great kids and you could tell we were "different" and "raised our family in church."
