First day of school

Little sister support system

Right now I only have a picture of Hallie. I'll get the other 2 soon.

Hallie is going to the Christian school here.

Hallie and Mrs. Lovmo

Hallie is so smart and really craves socialization. I know home schoolers can socialize and do fine. We just really felt this is what the Lord wanted right now.
We just moved here, Jeremy started a new job and we are living with my parents right now. I didn't want chaos for her 2nd grade year plus I feel Heidi needs some one on one attention.

Hallie seeing her friend Katie from church

She's so adorable

Work hard big girl!!

We went and visited her for lunch

Heidi and Hope went with me to a few thrift stores and we found a second Woody doll. We got one for Hallie when she was 2 years old and after a while she stopped playing with it so Heidi adopted him and never let him go. Heidi's pretty loyal to her toy friends.

Hallie has been more interested in Toy Story and Woody again lately. So they have both been wanting to play with the same Woody doll.

Hallie was pretty excited to see we found another Woody doll.

Heidi was loudly excited in the store when she saw him
and immediately thought of her big sister.

Hallie's second and third day of school wasn't so smooth. She ran after me after I dropped her off at her class room and said she changed her mind.

Yes, I know you would have snatched her up, took her home and ordered her books. I wanted to... trust me, but that is not God's plan right now. So I did the next best thing,
Sat on the steps down the hall, held her in my arms and cried with her. What's a mom to do?? So I composed my self, prayed with her and took her back to class. Her teacher is so loving and wonderful and reassured her she would be fine and mommy would be back.

I am very involved in her class, reading stories and helping out anytime. She is doing better now. Yesterday she received her tenth "good time ticket" tickets for good behavior so today she gets to paint at the easel. She was so excited.
Her handwriting looks beautiful. I want to know the teachers secret!!

I'm so excited for what the Lord will do in the lives of our children this year!!

Last summer outing before school...

A friend of mine invited us to go to the near by orchard for some yummy fruit.
So we jumped at it.

Good job Heidi!!

Hallie too!!

Hope loved pushing Maddie around...

and they all loved the dirt, of course.

2 bags of fruit + the sun + lots of friends + quality time with mommy = A great day!!!

Yum!!

We stopped up at the shop for some cider and ice cream.
Being the great mom that I am I had to capture this moment on camera so I put the cider and my purse in the van and took this picture. Then it was time to load up.

One problem, when I opened the van door and pushed it open
I hit the lock button and locked my keys in the van. OOPS!!
So we finished our ice cream inside until Daddy came to rescue us.

I love those girls!!!
School pictures will be next!!

The Move

We moved on a Monday morning. The Saturday before, our church had a family fun day to kick off VBS so a friend (Cindy) in the church offered to take Hallie and Heidi to it to have fun and help us be able to start getting the truck packed with less interruptions. I already told you about it, but I hadn't shown you pictures.
So here are a few. Some are out of order.

We went to get the girls toward the end and we got there a little
sooner so Hope could have some fun.

The Big Day!!

We had to add the trailer Sunday afternoon.
We just had too much stuff.

About 15 Minutes down the road we saw loose chains hanging.

The girls friend Kelsey who spent the night a few
times got the girls presents. They have a horse ranch
and the girls love horses so they got horses.
It was so sweet of her to think of them.

Taking turns in the truck with daddy.

Yes, we traveled with 2 dogs!!!

Hope liked hiding under her blanket and
usually fell asleep while under there.
I would move it so she could breath.

One of our many, many, many stops for a rest.

Thanks for stopping by.
