Our 4th of July

Happy Independence Day!!!
Our Sunday School class had a cook-out so I signed our whole gang up and tortured the men with "Matching T-Shirts"!! Don't we look like one Big Happy Family?! My mom is so great, she'd pretty much do anything I asked, lol. She bought me all kinds of stuff for my kitchen, but that's another blog. Anyway, this was our Day!

My mom came and told me about a Kodak moment between my friend Brigitte's daughter, (Brigitte is the one teaching me to sew) and my daughter Hallie. They look like they should be on a post card.

and then a tragedy....

Hope fell face first on the pavement while running of course. You can't slow her down.

We got her a pop-cycle because she wouldn't keep ice on it.
Thanks Brigitte!!!

Uncle Eddie sharing a sparkler with Hopie

If you look very closely you can see I painted the girls nails red, white and blue!!

Finishing up the sparklers before the big show

Hallie, Dylan, Heidi and Weston

Pop-pop took us out to Perkins on the 5th for breakfast. It was their last day, boo hoo!!

Heidi and Grandma

Hope doing "pound it" with Jeremy. She just started saying"boom" when she does it. It's so cute!!

Double pound!!

Pop-pop caught in the act of...
Sharing a Diet Pepsi!!! Hope enjoyed it.

My Dad put his leg up so she wouldn't fall and she decided to copy him.

A nice goodbye moment, Awwe
Have you ever had a nice smooth time with family and then after everyone leaves your child does the unthinkable and you wish someone was there to help you clean up the mess?
Or in my case clean up the child!!!!

That's right, BLUE NAIL POLISH!!!!!

She was not happy because I was not happy. If you remember she has that cut on her lip from falling, using nail polish remover is out for her lip anyway. So I stuck her in the tub and it came off. I used it everywhere else. Oh, and the outfit is ruined.

Literally, Head to toe. It was thick too.
Lesson: If your TROUBLE child is quiet, SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!

Gymnastics Week 2 and 3

Week 2

Hallie is terrified of the balance beam.

Learning the vault...

...and stick the landing!!

Heidi

The Bridge

Heidi just jumps and runs, LOL. She's not quite getting the "stick the landing" idea.

Woo hoo!!! We got ice cream because Heidi stayed dry and told her teacher she had to go to the bathroom. Good job Heidi!!

Hallie's class is learning splits now.

Ouch!! Can you feel her pain?

Break through!! Hallie finally did the balance beam all by herself!!

Her teacher is at the end encouraging her. She's so great!

And stick!! Great job Hallie!!
