Baby news!!

Please go down and start reading under the pictures below first. I have this a little out of order.
Then come back for further explanation.

#1 is a hole in his heart, we don't know how big it will grow as he grows. It will have to be repaired.

#2 is a valve missing in his right ventricle which is causing the blood not to flow as it should and it is just sloshing back and forth like a washing machine. The red and blue blood is mixing together. It should be separate. This is causing the bottom 2 chambers of his heart not to function correctly. They are there, just not working right.

#3 because the valve is missing it is causing the pulmonary arteries to swell. If they continue to swell it could affect the lungs.

I know it has been a while and I apologize for that to those of you who try to keep up with our crazy life. I think most of you know we are having a baby. We are very excited!!

Monday, May 17
th we had our first real ultrasound where you could tell it was actually a baby and see all the parts, fingers, toes, mouth and nose. We are pleased to announce we are finally having a boy!!! The girls are so excited. He will be so spoiled. But...

there is some bad news. "Hayden", that is his name, has a heart defect. He has been diagnosed with"Coronary heart disease".

Now go back to diagram and explanations above.

We have an ultrasound at Children's hospital in Philadelphia every 4 weeks. We will also have to deliver there so Hayden can get immediate attention when he is born. I will try to keep you updated as much as possible.

We don't know what the out come will be because a variety of things could happen. Likeliness of a miscarriage is very slim. He is safe in my womb, but his condition at birth is very uncertain. Surgery will definitely have to happen. When? We don't know.

For right now we are trusting God and praying hard. If He chooses not to heal Hayden then we are praying for His grace and strength through the hard parts.

Seeing our newborn going into heart surgery will certainly be hard, but I know our God will walk with us all the way.
This is when we will see one set of
FOOTPRINTS.

We would appreciate all your prayers for our precious son.

Our Christmas

Better late then never.
These sweaters came from a family in MO who are our great friends.

Hope loves Caillou. She was very excited.
She also got a lunch box, books and movies.

Hallie is very much into art.
My mom found this paint by number kit and Hallie loved it.
She has finished one already and
we are going to send it to one of her friends in MO.

Heidi got a computer. Her and Hope both love it.

They all love horses.

Fairy wings

Princess or bride veils

This one is a very special gift.

There is a wonderful lady in our church that reads missionary
stories to the 1st - 3rd graders in primary church.
She read about Mary Slessor for a time and it really spoke to Hallie.
She is amazed with her work and her bravery and her trust in the Lord.
I found this book at a ladies conference I was at last fall with my church. I just had to get it.

Heidi got these binoculars and walkie talkies.
She loves them both.

My brother got these T-shirts for the girls.

They say Property of Alcatraz penitentiary

Then stamped in red it says:
Reject too cute!!

My brother is going to college out in CA for Missions.
He is very much an adult and wasn't about to get stuck with
18 yr old freshman in the dorms so he found a Christian couple
who's kids were grown and out of the house and
they had a room to rent.
Anyway, The wife, Mrs Z made these scarves for my girls.
I thought they were beautiful.

Hallie sang a solo for the church musical and did a fabulous job.
It was a hard song for a 7 yr old and she did it in 2 wks.
Praise the Lord!!!

We had a great Christmas. Sorry we're so late, lol

Fall fun of '09!

Hallie and Heidi seeing the Balto statue for the first time.

Hello dear blogger friends. Oh how I have missed you all.
As you can see from these pictures I am very behind,
but I am going to try very hard to get caught up.

We went out to NYC for a day in September. Since Jeremy works for Amtrack we have free passes so we can ride the train for free as a family. Sorry we can't get deals for friends. lol

Central Park is so beautiful!! I loved it there.
We want to go back again this summer.

The girls had a great time.

Every year our church has vacation Bible school and every few years we get evangelist Ed Dunlop to come. He is amazing with the kids. This is my home church since I was a kid and we just moved back last July. It has been so exciting.

I remember Ed Dunlop coming when I was a little girl doing VBS. His Daughter, Rebekah would be Bongo the bear and I thought that was amazing and she was so lucky to get to work with her Dad and be Bongo!!

Well, Bongo was back for my girls!!

They loved to see all the funny things he did and
the tricks he would do on Bro. Dunlop.

Hallie won one night and got to play the MAD DASH.
She was so excited.

She was up against some big kids, but she was fast.

My girls loved Bongo and wanted a picture with him.

Surprise!!! I was Bongo. My childhood dream come true!!
I wish you could have seen their faces when I revealed myself to them on the last night. They were so shocked their eyes were watering.
I had a blast!
