I haven't been keeping up very well with my blog, So I have a lot of pictures to share and then you can see... MY Mother's Day. I have a lot of pictures of Hope and not the other girls. I will try to even things out next time. She's just at such a cute, fun age. Even Hallie and Heidi are bringing me the camera telling me to take Hope's picture. They are all so cute and I should do better! Hope you had a good mother's day too!!

I have been going over a friends house and she is teaching me to sew while our kids play. This is my first dress I did. It's for Hope.
Walmart has this fabric that is all ready to go you just have to close up the back and put straps on it. I wanted to add some material to the end for Hallie because she's getting so tall. I have material for Heidi. She's next!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Great job on the sewing, Ellen! It is so nice that you have somebody to teach you. Sometimes I wish I had a machine so I could play around with it, but then I look at the piles of laundry and dishes and realize I don't need ANOTHER thing to take up my time. lol! Besides, boy's clothes are not as fun to sew as cute little dresses!

ReplyDeleteI forgot to all how cute all the pictures are and that you did a great job on the dress! The vogue guide to sewing is the most helpful sewing book I have found. It gives good illustrated instructions for just about anything you might need to do while sewing.
