Hallie, working so hard.

Heidi picked a Unicorn too. It was the closest thing they had to a horse and that is what they both wanted.

Heidi did a great job as well.

I forgot to get a babysitter for Hope. So all the moms helped keep an eye on her.

It's hard timing both of them together, but they did a great job and I really appreciated Jeremy taking all the pictures for me.

The whole crew. We all had such a good time!!!

Our 7th Anniversary and A Very Busy Weekend!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HAPPY 7TH ANNIVERSARY TO US!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeremy and I have been married for 7 wonderful years. We aren't able to do anything right now to celebrate and this weekend we are having a birthday party for Hallie and Heidi, but maybe next weekend. I am so thankful that God brought him into my life. He makes me feel loved, safe, secure and special. I can't imagine my life without him!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our church Ladies went to a ladies retreat in Branson, Mo. hosted by Calvary Baptist in Branson. It was wonderful!! So refreshing and encouraging. God really spoke to my heart and I am so glad I went. We also got to do some shopping while we were there. The church had giveaways and every one got a ticket and if your ticket number was called you got a prize. The only glitch was you could not pick your own prize. One of thier ladies was handing out the prizes. That stuff usually doesn't sit well with me. I like to pick my own. What if I don't like it or I can't use it, then what? Earlier I spied a brown and pink tote that I loved and I really could use it for the girls library books, so I prayed and asked the Lord to give me that tote and if I didn't get it that would be ok and not have a bad attitude. Hallie is holding my gift in the next picture...
God is so good to me!! It was nice to be home! My girls were so happy to see me and all thier goodies too!!
I got this bag at a store called Jewelry and Handbag Warehouse for $8.00. I thought it was a great deal. It was the only one they had like this. I just loved it.
Hope enjoys her new diaper bag
Matching nightgowns
I bought them each 3 pairs of matching socks. They wanted to wear them right away, but they each picked a different color.
Hope ran up and posed for me
Hope has started"real playing" now.
Making her animals talk,so cute!
She loves to make them kiss, probably because we ask her for kisses all the time, now that she actually puckers up.
Having so much fun!!
She blows kisses now, too!
Night, Night Sweet baby girl!!
A Million Thanks...
A million thanks to my Brother-in-law, Caleb and Sister-in-law, Dawn (who is more like a sister to me) for the new look of my site. They put so much time and hard work into it and I could never thank them enough. One way I will try to thank them is to tell you all to pray for thier work in Wales. It is very hard to reach the poeple in the UK for Christ. Caleb and Dawn are called of God, determined and dedicated to the Welsh poeple for Christ. Please pray for them any time you think of them or at least everytime you check out her blog. Dawn is Joys of Boys. Yes, I know I said I would tell the story of how we are related and I will, soon. I promise. Thank you Caleb and Dawn, It's beautiful!!!
Men will be Men!!!
So, I ask Jeremy to pick up some ribbon while he's at Walmart so I can tie the curtains open when our company comes. The other ribbon we had was Christmas ribbon. It was time for new ribbon. Jeremy is the type of guy that likes to help decorate around the house. So this wasn't an impossible task for him. When he came home he said he had no idea what I would want and didn't see anything I would like. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing that. Yes, I know ribbon is not a manly thing, but when I went back they had ribbon galore and a couple that stuck out to me and I think should have stuck out to him. The moral of the story is ...Yes, the men we married are wonderful, hard working and brave. They provide for us and protect us, but above all they do not pick out ribbon!!!
This is what he came home with, Strips of velcro!!!!
And this was his way of storing the
velcro. Lovely, isn't it?
How to make a pretty bow and not have to tie it every time you want the curtains open. First, tie your bow around your curtains. Next, cut the ribbon in the back, vertically.
Then cut 2 small pieces of velcro. Glue one side of velcro to the outside of the ribbon.
Then glue opposite side to inside of ribbon.
So his "easy" idea and my "pretty" idea were brought together. I think we make a good pair, and above all he makes me laugh!
