Learning to sew is so much fun!!

Now that I am learning to sew I decided to pass my new found knowledge on to my children by making throw pillows for my Parents. My mom is redoing their living room in an Americana theme so we found flag material at Walmart on sale and started sewing. I was told starting them with pillows was best. So that is what we did and my parents just got them last Saturday and they love them!!

"What? Did you say this isn't for me?!"

They turned out so nice that the girls wanted to keep them so I explained Grandma would be sad without her special pillows so they were happy with just their picture with them on the couch.

Mother's Day and More...

I haven't been keeping up very well with my blog, So I have a lot of pictures to share and then you can see... MY Mother's Day. I have a lot of pictures of Hope and not the other girls. I will try to even things out next time. She's just at such a cute, fun age. Even Hallie and Heidi are bringing me the camera telling me to take Hope's picture. They are all so cute and I should do better! Hope you had a good mother's day too!!

I just love watching Hope grow and join in on the fun with her sisters.

Heidi was so excited to wear my curlers. I thought she looked so cute!!

Finishing up Math!

I have been going over a friends house and she is teaching me to sew while our kids play. This is my first dress I did. It's for Hope.

Walmart has this fabric that is all ready to go you just have to close up the back and put straps on it. I wanted to add some material to the end for Hallie because she's getting so tall. I have material for Heidi. She's next!!
