Easter Sunday

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Sorry I'm late. This was a busy day, but productive. Our Golden Retriever likes to dig up our grass therefore we have none and he is killing all our plants so we had to break down and buy a big expensive cage, EEK! It is worth it because he really is a good dog, but he is still a puppy. He'll grow out of it eventually, we hope.

Easter Sunday

(Notice Hallie and Hopes hand positions. Weird huh?)

Saturday night we colored eggs. The girls love coloring eggs.

Hope was so tired.

UH-Oh, this is what happens when a mommy

forgets to put her 2 yr old down for a nap.

Hallie is so intense.

Look who's up and ready for fun!

Out again...

Heidi's turn. She loved her blue eggs.

Hope wanted to get hers by herself.

(Notice Heidi's face)

She ended up dropping it and water splashed and

the egg cracked, but she was smiling.

Easter Morning!!

I put ringlets in the girls hair again, but Hallie's didn't work out as well as I planned. Sometimes it just doesn't do what you want. The left side is a little weird, but she got lots of good comments and they could be caked in mud from head to toe and they are still my beautiful girls!!

Junior Church:

"The torn veil at the Holy of Holies."

Ok, let me explain. Man this will be hard.

My husband and his family are very warped people, but fun. They will almost do anything to bring the Bible alive to the kids to get the message across yet have fun too.

My husband (Jeremy) is in blue and his brother (Josh) to the left in the brown suit coat. They are detectives who came in singing the pink panther tune,LOL!!! The man with the cookie monster towel on his head is Mr. Phil he is the priest who takes the blood sacrifice in the Holy of Holies. The guy to the right is Chuck and he was the messenger to tell the priest Christ had risen from the tomb.

The Priest was going to give the sacrifice when he saw the torn veil and then he was worried so he called 911,lol, after calling the 2 detectives came and they were investigating to figure out how it could have torn because it was so thick and it was torn from top to bottom. Later the kids split up as junior detectives, went to their classes and discovered the truth from the Bible. When they came back we finished the skit and the kids had a great time and learned a lot and had fun. Anything in the skit that was not in the Bible we made sure the kids knew that it was just for fun.

Jeremy is explaining it at the end. He's amazing with Kids.

I love him so much!!

  2. I use to work with Jeremy on the bus route and in Jr. Church while he was in college in CA. Him and Caleb always had us laughing. They became big brothers in our family and I am pretty sure they joined us for many meals. :) I am glad they are still having fun in the Bible stories. :)

  3. I hope he is saving all the skits!! He should put them in a book for others to use too.
