Easter Sunday

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Sorry I'm late. This was a busy day, but productive. Our Golden Retriever likes to dig up our grass therefore we have none and he is killing all our plants so we had to break down and buy a big expensive cage, EEK! It is worth it because he really is a good dog, but he is still a puppy. He'll grow out of it eventually, we hope.

Easter Sunday

(Notice Hallie and Hopes hand positions. Weird huh?)

Saturday night we colored eggs. The girls love coloring eggs.

Hope was so tired.

UH-Oh, this is what happens when a mommy

forgets to put her 2 yr old down for a nap.

Hallie is so intense.

Look who's up and ready for fun!

Out again...

Heidi's turn. She loved her blue eggs.

Hope wanted to get hers by herself.

(Notice Heidi's face)

She ended up dropping it and water splashed and

the egg cracked, but she was smiling.

Easter Morning!!

I put ringlets in the girls hair again, but Hallie's didn't work out as well as I planned. Sometimes it just doesn't do what you want. The left side is a little weird, but she got lots of good comments and they could be caked in mud from head to toe and they are still my beautiful girls!!

Junior Church:

"The torn veil at the Holy of Holies."

Ok, let me explain. Man this will be hard.

My husband and his family are very warped people, but fun. They will almost do anything to bring the Bible alive to the kids to get the message across yet have fun too.

My husband (Jeremy) is in blue and his brother (Josh) to the left in the brown suit coat. They are detectives who came in singing the pink panther tune,LOL!!! The man with the cookie monster towel on his head is Mr. Phil he is the priest who takes the blood sacrifice in the Holy of Holies. The guy to the right is Chuck and he was the messenger to tell the priest Christ had risen from the tomb.

The Priest was going to give the sacrifice when he saw the torn veil and then he was worried so he called 911,lol, after calling the 2 detectives came and they were investigating to figure out how it could have torn because it was so thick and it was torn from top to bottom. Later the kids split up as junior detectives, went to their classes and discovered the truth from the Bible. When they came back we finished the skit and the kids had a great time and learned a lot and had fun. Anything in the skit that was not in the Bible we made sure the kids knew that it was just for fun.

Jeremy is explaining it at the end. He's amazing with Kids.

I love him so much!!

I'm the luckiest Mom in the world!!

Well, a while back I put our names in for a contest at Sears Portrait studio and we won a runners up prize. A free 10x13 and half price on sheets with no sitting fee.

These are the results.

Our new family photo

She is so precious. I love that smile.

This smile says, "guess what I did in my diaper?"

We like to pretend they are angels

These are with no nap too.
Bad Mommy!!

Heidi is the hardest to get a good smile from
and she did great!

I wanted the girls to have a memory of when they were in their first wedding.
My snap shots aren't the greatest.

My sweet oldest girl.
She is the most excited about this wedding.

Memory Lane

A friend of mine mentioned making a costume for a girl in a play. Then she posted it and I realized it was the same theatre we have been to to see some of our friends in plays. One of our favorites was Snow white and Seven Dwarfs. It's been about a year and a half since I posted this so I thought I would stroll down memory lane.

meeting Snow white

Heidi was a little scared of the Prince Robert. I'm not sure why.
Maybe it was all the makeup, lol.

Hallie chatting with prince Robert

We are friends with the family of some teen girls in the play who go to our church. Their mom paid for the girls and paid extra for them to attend a tea party with Snow white and the Prince. Hmmm, I wonder how my kid got a seat right by the prince, thanks Cindy!!

A few of the dwarfs.
They were the friendliest guys.

There are my girls with Cindy in the middle. We got a backstage tour. It was so neat for the kids to see where they get hair and makeup done and how they know when to come out for their part. They were enamored!!

The Queen turned which is Megan to the left.

It was so much fun. I thank God for great friends and these wonderful memories
with our children.

Listening to that still, small voice...

...saved the day!!

Heidi came to me Sunday morning asking if she could take a lamb purse to church. Some neighbor girls brought over some toys they don't use anymore and this purse for my girls. Heidi fell in love with the purse. Well, we don't allow our kids to take toys to church. They are too much of a distraction(being teachers we know this) and there is no need. That is not their purpose for going. So I was very hesitant to say yes,but something in me said, "let her take it". I thought I was just being soft, but I said yes.

So we get to church and I'm talking to her teacher and she is going to teach on the passover and how Jesus said God will provide himself a Lamb. Her teacher forgot to bring a Lamb for the object lesson and on her way to church would you believe she prayed and asked God to once again provide a lamb for the lesson!!!

There it is. Heidi's purse is the Lamb.

We also had one of our junior church girls getting baptized
so we all went up to see and rejoice with her and her family!

It was a good day!!

A Pampered party

The girls are in a wedding in May most of you know already. Well, the bride's (Emily) family had a pampered chef party for her. So the girls and I went to it. It was a lot of fun and I got to buy some things and Emily earned points for free stuff. Well, I got some pictures to share.

The whole party.
It should be obvious who the groom is.

Emily and her flower girls and a baby sister,he he
She may not be in the wedding, but she's cute too.
Don't ya love how they look right into the camera,LOL!

Hallie is Chatty Kathy!!

Emily's apron says The Pampered Bride
I thought it was cute.
