Feminine Friday

These first 2 pictures should be at the end, but I forgot them.

The Barefoot mama said to indulge her in our pregnant, giving birth photo's and I love to share about my sweet baby's. And since I forgot to brag on my sweet one when she turned 2 a few weeks ago she deserves this post. So here ya go!

About 2 weeks away

September 29th woke up having strong contractions at 7:30am and went in at 10:30 and was dialated to a 6.

Hope McKay born at 1:18pm
7lbs

I can't wait to do it again, but the Dr. better be on time cause I won't hold another one in again!!

A journaling moment for sure!

Hallie and Heidi had a couple neighbor friends over yesterday while Jeremy and I were fixing Dinner. I wasn't sure what they were playing until I heard Hallie say,"Ok ,Is it my turn to be the Ghost now?"

So I turned around to see them draping a blanket over her head and she started to lift her arms in the air.

We do not participate in Halloween. We do not agree with it. That is just how we feel. Our church is having a Harvest Party where the children can dress up as a biblical Character. I have always been taught if you take something bad away you should replace it with something good. (Another thing is we do not judge those who do participate. That is not our business.)

Back to the story. So as I turned and saw my child being a ghost, (which she has never done before) I said, "NO NO NO, we do not pretend to be Ghosts". To all of you mothers let me explain. Normal pretending is fine. I let my kids pretend, but I know my children and they have never pretended that before and they are easily frightened and have bad dreams. It's that time of year that kids are thinking about this stuff. So I needed to nip it.

Well, as I was saying no, my 6 year old's response was," No Mommy I'm the Holy Ghost"!!!

After I picked my self up off the floor I said to my Husband, "That is going on the Blog"!!

Flashback!!!

This sounds like fun. I love to reminisce!!

I was 8 years old soon to be 9 in December. I had thought I had gotten saved, but when I turn 11 will realize otherwise. I was in 2nd or 3rd grade at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Fairless Hills Pa. (*Sigh*) I wish I could move back. I miss it there. And My mom was the school secretary at the time.

I was 18 years old and a Sophomore at Northeast Baptist College in Downingtown, Pa. I was able to go home on the weekends which I loved. The very next summer I would meet my Husband in TX.

We had only been here at Eastside Baptist Church in Staint Joseph, Mo. for a little over a year. Jeremy and I were in charge of the Teens and the whole Children's department. My Brother and Sister-in-law, Caleb and Dawn (Joys of Boys), were living with us while on deputation and Dawn and I had a harvest party for the kids here at my house. We baked cookies and made Carmel apples.

My youngest, Hope had just turned 1 year old. My oldest was starting Kindergarten. Jeremy and I were over the Children's church Program, I think. I'm not really sure when we started again. And I had just stopped taking Birth Control. Too personal?

Yesterday

I unfortunately missed church because I was sick all weekend. I was finally starting to feel a little better. I could keep food down, anyway. And the girls were able to sleep upstairs again because the playroom is almost finished. Yay!!

Today

I am 5 weeks Pregnant with my 4th child. I am trying to regain my house back. The girls took over this weekend since I was sick. I am way behind in laundry and I can't wait for the girls rooms to be completed and back in order so I can reorganize my house. And I am a little nautious and not sure if it is pregnancy related or sickness lingering.

The Future

The future holds that wonderful day when my precious baby will be born healthy Lord willing. When my 4 year old will finally stop having accidents in her pants and when it will click in her head and she will understand salvation and accept Christ. Of course I want that for the other 2 as well. She is so close, but just doesn't really understand yet. And it holds many more blessings and I'm sure trials that the Lord will help us through.

I did put spaces between my different paragraphs, but for some reason they are not saving to my post. I'm a little frustrated and can't sit here all day fighting with it. I'm sorry if it appears all squished together. I did try.

Our Trip to Pa - Part 3 and announcment at the end!!

While we were getting family pictures done on the other side of the gym, Hope escaped for some cakey goodness. She made her way around the table to just about every piece of cake they put there.

She didn't care who was watching. And trust me she had an audience!

Visiting with family at My grandma's house (Grandma Rue)
They call her grandma Rue because her name is LaRue. That is Cassidy in the brown. She is my cousin Joel's daughter from SC.

This is Ethan. He lives there in PA just around the corner. He is my cousin Kevin's son. And so mannerly and sweet. He was so nice to my girls and they played great together for really not knowing each other.

Hope and my brother Eddie

" Hey, Someones in here! Take a number!!"

Hope in the nursery at church

My mom

The Garrison girls
The tallest and oldest girl (on my right) was my flower girl in my wedding.
Thier oldest son was a ring bearer but the boys weren't in the picture. Just us girls.

It took a lot of work to get this picture. I thought I would show you how Hope really felt about the whole picture taking process.

Would someone please help me!!!!

No, this isn't my Grandmother's house. But, Isn't it beautiful!!

Want to know it's significance??

It's an Extreme Make Over house!!
That's right, Ty Pennington was in my Hometown. It may not be a big deal to some, But I thought it was awesome! Did you see the size of the neighbor's house?
Big difference uh?

Sit!!

"Good Boy! Here now eat my Teddy Grahams and don't tell Mommy or Grandma I'm sharing, ok?"

It's 4:30 am and Heidi asked, "Where are we going?" When we told her she was going home she bawled her little eyes out. Evidently it didn't click when I told her the day before.

Hallie fell asleep again.
She was too tired to cry and she is getting old enough now to be tough like I have had to do. It's hard. I hate being away from Home. She also knows we'll be back. Heidi has a hard time understanding life will go back to normal. She'll be fine and there will be more visits.

Hallie woke up and said goodbye when we went to the car.

Pop-pop took us to the airport

Bye-Bye!!!

( The T-shirts are gifts from Grandma)

Does this diaper make my butt look big?

What happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's

What part of Princess don't you understand?
*Attention Attention *
Be sure to come back on Friday for a Grand announcement!!!
or
If you all can get all my blogger friends to leave me a comment about their favorite picture in this blog I'll tell you the announcement sooner. Trust me you want to hear this!!!
